In July 2019 we were awarded a "GOOD" rating following an inspection by Ofsted
Nicki Saunderson, Manager, 24th July 2019 - "I am happy to announce that our latest Ofsted Report has today been published online and can now be read via the Ofsted website. I am proud to say that we got a 'Good' in all areas with some outstanding aspects, which is fantastic under the current Inspection Framework for a small packaway pre-school. The inspector has made some really lovely comments"
Bad weather - in the event of such bad weather that we are unable to open, Parents will be advised about school closure by the following means:
Do you own or work for a local company? Would you consider sponsoring us, or sponsoring one of our events? As a non-profit charity, funds are always tight and fundraising is a constant challenge! Any help is hugely appreciated.
Please contact us! Thank you!
Calling all pre-school parents: If you would like to volunteer to join the committee please speak to a member of staff or email/message/call us if you are interested. It's fun and rewarding. Remember - without the committee we can't operate, and the fundraising is invaluable and all goes to enhance your children's experience at pre-school.
We have been using Tapestry since the start of the 2016/17 school year, and it's proving to be very successful and liked by parents and staff alike! Tapestry is an easy-to-use online learning journal, which helps the educators and parents to record, track and celebrate each child's progress in early years education.
Don't forget that we run several fun events for the children throughout the year, and parents/carers and their families are welcome to attend! Events include:
- Christmas Service and Bazaar
- Christmas party with a visit from Father Christmas
- Easter Bazaar & egg hunt
- Summer outing
- Sports day
- End-of-term/leavers party/graduation
